The Climbing Wall Summit is the climbing wall industry’s only professional development conference and provides industry participants with the networking opportunities, information, and inspiration to move the industry forward. Attendees from around the world include universities, recreation centers, climbing gyms, military installations, vendors, and more.
Nearly 500 attendees and over thirty exhibitors joined us in Boulder for the 2014 Summit. Our largest content line up ever included topics like business planning, route setting, human resources management, programming, and more. We were privileged to have speakers from USA Climbing, Paradox Sports, So iLL, the American Alpine Club, Access Fund, ABC Kids Climbing, to name a few. Prior to the Summit, the CWA hosts pre‐conference workshops. These are long form, in-depth workshops that typically last 4, 8 or 12 hours. Pre‐workshops are placed outside of the dates of the Summit, on Wednesday and Thursday, in order to maximize the amount of content offered at the Summit. During the Summit, Friday and Saturday, industry experts present nearly thirty 75 minute sessions. These sessions cover various topics and are hosted concurrently over the two-day conference.
