We invite you to present at the 2013 Climbing Wall Summit. Strengthen the climbing wall industry by sharing your expertise!
We are accepting proposals for pre-conference workshops and conference sessions. If you have a topic that is relevant to the sport of climbing, climbing wall management, climbing wall operations, climbing instruction, climbing technique, design and engineering, recreation law, route-setting, et cetera, and would like to share your knowledge, information, or skills with others, please submit a proposal for a pre-conference workshop or conference session.
Conference sessions will be offered in 75 minute sessions on Friday May 31 and Saturday June 1, 2013. Conference sessions are intended for educational content, and cover topics from A to Z, but please – no sales pitches. Past topics have included: administration, operations, risk management, marketing, training, human resources, and current issues or trends. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis until all sessions are filled. Selection will begin January 1, 2013.
The session must be educational. The format can be lecture, lecture and discussion, a round-table discussion, a panel discussion, workshop, hands-on, etc. Session proposals should address the various needs and interests of major segments of the climbing wall industry. This year we will be organizing conference content by topical areas or tracks. Designated tracks include:

Legal and Risk Management
Programming and Operations
Equipment and Technical
Product Presentations

Product presentations help attendees stay abreast of new goods and services, differentiate between offerings, meet vendors and ask questions. Product presentations are scheduled to not overlap with regular conference sessions. Product presentations are available to the sponsors and exhibitors who make the Summit possible.

The conference will be held in Boulder, Colorado, at the University of Colorado, University Memorial Center (UMC). The UMC has several conference rooms available for both pre-conference workshops and conference sessions. Boulder also offers world-class indoor and outdoor rock climbing venues for off-site locations. We invite you to join us as a presenter.
