Thank you for your interest in joining the Climbing Wall Association! The CWA is a non-profit, industry trade association for operators of climbing walls, builders of climbing walls, manufacturers of climbing wall equipment, and others involved in the climbing industry.

What does CWA do?

The CWA offers standards for the operation of climbing walls, insurance programs for climbing facilities, risk management consulting for member organizations, conferences, and other products and services.  CWA is the principal promoter and defender of the manufactured wall climbing industry in the USA. The CWA’s public policy agenda involves educating our members on policy matters that may have an impact on their programs and businesses; promoting positive regulatory and business conditions for the industry; and promoting sound public policy regarding health, physical education and recreation.

Who Should Join?

Any organization that provides climbing–related products or services is eligible to apply for membership. Any individual involved in the climbing industry may also apply for membership.

How Much Does It Cost?

The CWA annual membership fee is $300.00 and $50.00 for each additional location with a climbing wall.
